You say searching for ".txt" but I assume you mean "*.txt" (without quotation marks) ".txt" finds nothing and I'm surprised if it ever did! I just checked with a documents folder with the file type as *.txt and sub-folders checked. File size was blank, rather than 0 (both worked). I assume you have one or more of Zero Size, Duplicates and Same File Name checked (again, warning if non selected). NoClone (ver 3.2.18) found both duplicate files and same name files without any problem. Depending on the path it might be worth un-checking (assuming it is checked) the Protect System Folder incase NoClone thinks it is a system path. It should give a warning if it believes the path is a system path. I also checked the Program folder and Windows folder and found duplicates without any problem (after the warning about system files).

Hi there, I've been using the latest version of NoClone (Having upgraded from a previou version).

The software no longer seems to be able to "see" .txt files - and I have rather a lot of them I need to compare.

I've tried setting the min file size to nothing and even tried just searching .txt files.

I ended up creating two test folders with just .txt files and it couldn't see any of them. Any ideas?
